Luthier's Pride.com Supports the Arts by forming Luthier's Pride Musicians' Circle
Howell, New Jersey (PRWEB) July 24, 2008 -- Luthier's Pride proudly announces it is forming Luthier's Pride Musicians' Circle, a charitable organization dedicated to continuing education and appreciation of the guitar. Luthier's Pride is represented by the the law firm of Pepper Hamilton, Princeton, NJ ( http://www.pepperlaw.com ) in its application for approval of 501c3 status.
Luthier's Pride.org ( http://www.luthierspride.org ) is currently operating as a non-profit foundation. As a 501c3 corporation we will receive charitable grants and other contributions to promote the performance and appreciation of the handcrafted guitar.
Luthier's Pride's mission is to:
1) Showcase artists, familiar or emerging, who display the best in musical talent, in concerts that are open to the public, live or on the web.
2) Present master classes and workshops at low or no cost for players at all levels, frequently in collaboration with local educational institutions.
3) Display luthierie in a gallery setting and promote education of luthierie through guitar building classes and workshops.
4) Promote music education through support of "Music in the Schools" programs and concerts for the public.
Although Luthier's Pride.com ( http://www.luthierspride.com ) has supported all of these types of activities during the past few years, we now will establish an independent corporation to carry on these important community minded programs. Luthier's Pride Musicians' Circle will be overseen by a board of directors to include Russell Campbell, Patrick Karwan and Doug Clarke as well as corporate officers.
We ask anyone interested in our program to contact us at luthierspride@verizon.net to discuss our upcoming concert series and ways that they can become involved with our Musicians' Circle Program.
