Mastering Music? School Music Software Helps Teachers Enhance Curriculum Quickly, Inexpensively
Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) July 26, 2008 -- The Mastering Music? school music software program makes implementing a high quality music education program a breeze! It is designed to help schools and teachers with limited time, dwindling budgets and little or no technology expertise.
To kick off this exciting new offering, the Sheet Music Store at Music44.com is making the base license ($99 retail) available discounted to $83.88, plus a small $5 per user fee.
"We carry all the computer software CD-ROM (http://www.music44.com/X/products/computer%20software%20CD-ROM) programs. And the Music Mastering? school music software (http://www.music44.com/X/product/29083-D) is the most complete, flexible and economical program we've ever seen for schools and teachers. It covers performing, composing and listening skills, and delivers highly specific musical outcomes in performance, composition, notation, digital audio, ear training, music theory and even film scoring," says Music44 buyer Michelle Oleck.
She continues, "At Music44 we cater largely to schools and teachers, so we are very pleased to be able to offer this comprehensive and cost effective solution. Compare it to the popular Essentials of Music Theory software course (http://www.music44.com/X/products/essentials%20of%20music%20theory%20software) and you'll see what I mean. Also, you don't have to be an IT genius to deploy Mastering Music?--It is easy to implement, with clear and simple step-by-step directions to install on a network or on laptops. That eliminates one of the biggest hurdles in school music software platforms."
Mastering Music? includes tutorials for students, assessment tools for instructors and a flexible curriculum that can be tailored to the educator's specific goals.
There are basically two license types. The first is a Mastering Music Site License?, which is an unlimited license for every computer within a school or school district and which consists of a fixed software cost (retail $99) plus a license fee per student using the software (retail $5 each).
The second license type is a Mastering Music Laptop License?, which is a license for each student and teacher laptop within the school, which consists of a fixed software cost (retail $99) plus an annual subscription license for a minimum of 50 students. In this case, the software is imaged to each laptop from a central school server.
In either case, you simply purchase the basic CD-ROM product to get started. Directions for either installation method are included.
The "per student" license fee is technically referred to as a "Site Network Agreement?" which applies annually from one year after the original purchase date.
In addition, Music Master Professional? is an integrated sequencing, notation and audio software application that is the engine inside the program. It can also be run in "stand alone" mode for composing outside the lesson environment. License to use it in this manner is included at no extra cost with either of the above licenses.
There is an added option called Web Connect?. For an additional license fee, it allows students to log in to the school's secure website from home to complete lessons or to do sequencing/notation work outside of the lessons. This is an annual subscription license for each student, and allows them each a copy of Music Master Professional, which is downloaded from the school server.
Finally there is an authoring tool called Komposa? at no extra charge. This enables the educator to create and modify the lessons if they so wish.
Music44 offers a complete source for public or private school music education (http://www.music44.com/X/products/school%20textbook) needs, including all sheet music (http://www.music44.com/X/products/sheet%20music), music textbooks (http://www.music44.com/X/products/textbook) and music software (http://www.music44.com/X/products/software) including site reading, music theory and more.
